Rules/Regs.

Franklin Township Wrestling Club Rules and Regulations

  1. If practices are missed before a match, coaches will have the right to replace the wrestler or forfeit the match.
  2. No cursing, disrespectful or abusive behavior allowed. If this behavior occurs the child will be asked to leave the club.
  3. Any behavior unfit at practice will be dealt with by the coaches as seen fit. (i.e. extra pushups, staying to help with mats) In excess the child will not have a match. In extreme cases expulsion from the club.
  4. Children and parents will be assigned a night to help roll mats. Participation is requested of all in the club.
  5. No child on team will be permitted to leave during a match without permission.
  6. No parents are allowed to attend practice. Pick up & drop off only. There will be a waiting area assigned.
  7. Only coaches and assistants allowed on mats during matches.
  8. All children will be required to wear proper headgear & wrestling shoes. If there is a problem, please see the coach or manager.
  9. There will be a $25.00 deposit required for all uniforms. All uniforms must be handed in by the end-of-season celebration or deposit will be kept by the club.
  10. No refunds on registration fee.
  11. All parents are excepted to act and behave responsibly. No parent is to challenge the referee or coach. Please show respect to all, children and adults, at all times.
  12. There will be absolutely NO running around in the halls of the school during practices or matches. There will be absolutely NO climbing on any school equipment.
