Directions to (New) Franklin High School Located at 500 Elizabeth Ave.

From 287 north or south, take exit 10, “Easton Avenue, New Brunswick” and follow signs for New Brunswick. You will be on Easton Avenue to Cedar Grove Lane. Turn right on Cedar Grove Lane. At the second light turn right on to New Brunswick Road, proceed to second light make left onto Elizabeth Avenue (100 yards to entrance) on right 500 Elizabeth Avenue.


From New Jersey Turnpike, take exit 9 onto Route 18 north to Easton Avenue exit. At light turn left on to (Landing Lane).Proceed to light (Easton Avenue), turn right. Take Easton Avenue approximately 6 lights to Cedar Grove Lane. Turn left at Cedar Grove Lane. At the second light turn right on to New Brunswick Road, proceed to second light make left onto Elizabeth Avenue (100 yards to entrance) on right 500 Elizabeth Avenue.


From Princeton Area, take Route 27 north to Kingston and Griggstown. At the light by Shogun, turn left onto South Middlebush Road to the end. Turn left onto Amwell Road (O’Connor’s Beef and Chowder House). Take Amwell Road to Cedar Grove Lane at Mobil Station bear left at light. At the second light turn right onto Elizabeth Avenue. Proceed 1 mile on your left, to the entrance of 500 Elizabeth Avenue.

Directions to Franklin Middle School (Old High School) from 287 South

From 287 South: Take Exit 10 – to Easton Avenue exit signs “New Brunswick.” Continue on Easton Avenue. Follow the signs for “New Brunswick.” Continue on Easton Avenue to Franklin Boulevard (8th traffic light). Turn right onto Franklin Boulevard and continue to the traffic light at Hamilton Street. Turn right onto Hamilton Street. Proceed three blocks, make a right onto Francis Street. The Middle School is located at 415 Francis Street Somerset, NJ 08873-3001 (732 249-6410).

Directions to Sampson G. Smith Upper Elementary School from 287 South

Take the I-287 South ramp towards I-95/PERTH AMBOY/NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE. 0.3 miles.
Merge onto I-287 South.
Take the CR-527 N/EASTON AVE exit, exit number 10, towards NEW BRUNSWICK/S BOUND BROOK.
Stay straight to go onto CR-527 S/EASTON AVE.
Turn RIGHT onto CEDAR GROVE LN/CR-619.
Turn LEFT onto CR-514/AMWELL RD.

From the North

Take I-287 South to exit #12 (Weston Canal Road/Manville, South Bound Brook). Make a left at the bottom of the exit ramp. Follow Weston Canal Road for about 2 miles. The Delaware and Raritan Canal will be on your right. On your left will be Somerset Christian Academy.

From the South

Take Garden State Parkway to exit 127 (I-287 North) or NJ Turnpike to exit 10 (I-287 North). Follow I-287 North to exit #12. Follow directions from the NORTH.

From the East

Take either I-80, I-78 or Route 22 West to I-287 South. Follow I-287 South to exit #12. Follow directions from the NORTH.

From the West

Take either I-80, I-78 or Route 22 East to I-287 South. Follow I-287 South to exit 12/7. Follow directions from the NORTH.

From Princeton

Route 206 North for approximately 10 miles to Hillsborough. At intersection you will turn right onto Amwell Road. On your right is the Nelson Corner Shopping Center with a ShopRite, Eckerds and Starbucks. Follow Amwell for approximately 3 miles to the fourth light and turn left onto the Millstone/River Road Bypass/Route 533. Go to next light and turn right onto Wilhousky Road (which becomes Weston Canal Road). Krauzers store on your right at this intersection. Follow for one mile. Entrance to SCA on your right.

From Manville

At light of three-way intersection turn left onto Wilhousky Road (which becomes Weston Canal Road). There’s a Rhythms of the Night dance hall and Krauzers store on your left at this intersection. Follow for one mile. Entrance to SCA is on your right.

From 22 West

Immediately after the entrance to I-287 South exit take next right exit for Finderne Ave/Foot Hill Road/Manville. Go to the right, following the Finderne Ave/Manville sign. At light, turn right onto Finderne Ave. Follow through Manville. At light of three-way intersection turn left onto Wilhousky Road (which becomes Weston Canal Road). There’s a Krauzers store on your left at this intersection. Follow for one mile. Entrance to SCA is on your right.
